I can provide support to gain a deeper understanding of your life, how you want to live your life, examine barriers and support you in removing them. I enjoy working with people who are ready to listen to themselves and are ready to take steps towards transformation and have an openness for meaningful and fulfilling experiences.

My name is Eva York, LCSW #114573. Clients and colleagues describe me as open and insightful, accepting and warm. I specialize in working with people who are experiencing stress, anxiety and depression. I have experience working with children and adults who have experienced trauma and I provide support by integrating psychodynamic, developmental, trauma, social learning and cognitive behavioral theories.

I offer a wide variety of transformational tools and therapeutic orientations for your journey towards healing. The modalities that inform my Therapy practice include Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, Mindfulness Work and Expressions through art. I draw from recent studies in cognitive neuroscience and brain development.

At this time I do not accept insurance, the services I offer are cash pay only. The fees are $125 for Individual Sessions.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree at the San Francisco Art Institute and I am a certified “A Window Between Worlds” Art Facilitator.

Learning Disabilities and ADHD

I have experience working with families whose children experience additional challenges and are unique learners. I offer services for neurodiverse children and young adults to gain self regulation skills and social skills in a respectful, loving and collaborative way.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness has been proven as a successful intervention to reduce anxiety and depression. I am a continuing student to Mindfulness practices and Breathing Exercises to calm the Nervous System.
